He’s done it again. David Reynolds has once again poured out of his passion, education, and spiritual insight a helpful book for the family. This one, dealing with training and disciplining children, is vitally important. The Bible teaches us to “train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). This commandment with a promise brings the training of children to the forefront of our responsibilities as a parent. As the author says, “Training is both a command that must be obeyed and a promise to be claimed by those of us who are Christian parents.”
David Reynolds’ zeal for the betterment of families has been a part of his life and ministry for decades. With relentless pursuit, he has written, traveled, taught, and practiced his own teachings at home and abroad. His ministry is spanning the globe as he delivers the commandment and the promise of training children to families in many countries.
As you read the chapters and work through the homework at the end of the chapters, David Reynolds and God can speak encouragement and instruction to guide you in disciplining and training your children. Submitted by Rev. Daniel Buford
